Child’s Eye by Anita John

child's eye-cover

Child’s Eye is my debut collection of short fiction and poetry. It explores the themes of love and loss told through the eyes of children and family, wildlife and landscape. It also includes Making Mince Pies and Aunt Betty Talking, Anita’s winning entries in the Biscuit International Combo Competition 2012.

What others have said about Child’s Eye:

Anita’s stories startle us back into all the clear-sight and confusion of childhood. Painful, funny, poignant, and populated by characters with vivid inner worlds; these stories may just have you stamping your foot at unfairness or howling with joy..” Linda Cracknell

The Kitchen is a powerful and memorable piece of writing. Not the sort of poem you forget.” Helena Nelson

These Women I’ve Loved is a celebration of love and hope.” Pippa Little

Child’s Eye is available directly from me or from Amazon (see Books to Buy).
